General Skilled Migration Visas
Overview
These visas are for skilled workers who want to live and work in Australia. They help fill job shortages and boost the economy. With these visas, you can apply for permanent residency (Visa 189 and 190) or a provisional visa with a pathway to PR (Visa 491) if you're willing to live in regional areas.

Skilled Independent Visa 189 (Permanent Resident Visa)

Employment Sponsored Visas

This visa lets skilled workers, who are nominated by their employer, live and work in Australia permanently. -
Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 494)
This visa enables regional employers to address identified labor shortages within their region by sponsoring skilled workers where employers can't source an appropriately skilled Australian worker
Partner Visas
Overview
If you're married to or in a de facto relationship with an Australian citizen or permanent resident, these visas let you live with your partner in Australia. They start with a temporary visa (820 or 309) and can lead to permanent residency (801 or 100).
